"What you do today can improve all your tomorrows."

since 2014, we have initiated three income generating projects (IGP) with the goal of sustainability for the children's homes that we work with in rural villages.

dairy igp

village of kakdwip, Kakdwip rural development association

In Kakdwip, the dairy IGP is providing milk for 165 children each day.  The surplus is sold at the market and the profit is covering school supplies.  As the project grows, the profits will eventually help cover meals and school fees for the children.

village of falta, naba tarun sangha

In the village of Falta, the dairy IGP is providing milk for the boys at Naba Tarun Sangha.  The profits are being used towards meal costs.  We are no longer raising funds for this IGP, since it is now complete.

poultry igp

village of kakdwip, kakdwip rural development association

The Poultry IGP was just started in the Spring of 2016 and is still in the development phase.  When this project is fully operational, the chickens and eggs will be used to feed the children as well as be sold at the market for profit.  Profits will be used to cover school fees and meals for 165 children as well as other needs such as medical costs, or building maintenance.
